He's a native Long Islander who's always loved radio & music! He fell in love with the 'blues' while attending college in South Carolina. A pub, near campus where a friend worked, featured a lot of 'blues' on their jukebox. Jerry was hooked... and he eventually started collecting records from B.B. King, Elmore James, Howlin' Wolf and others. Later, he got into the radio business... accidentally... and has been loving every minute of it! Jerry's radio career began in 1990 at WNYG 1440AM, on Long Island, and continued with on-air gigs at 104.7 WBEA and 102.3 WBAB... before landing at WRCN in 2002.

Jerry's a huge fan of the NY Yankees, NY Jets and Notre Dame football! He enjoys all kinds of music (not just Blues) and likes to relax with a good beer or bourbon and an occasional fine cigar.

Things most people don't know about Jerry: he has an unnatural preoccupation with the acting career of Dabney Coleman and was married  to Cheryl Ladd (of Charlie's Angels fame) for a short time in the mid-80's. ;)

He currently lives on the South Shore of Long Island with his wife, Christine, their 3 children, 2 dogs ("Mikki" & "Muddy") and a cat named "Skittles".
